Inaugural Hampton Roads Country Music Festival

Let us just say that the music fest at Venue 757 was awesome. Best talent all day. There may not have been as many people as desired but WOW did ya'll miss out. HATS OFF TO ALL the bands that really gave 110% in their performances.

I think if admission were not so expensive the turn out would have been better. But honestly the experience was worth every penny. We truly enjoyed our time there and I think all these groups gained some extra loyal fans to their roster! Special thank you to Chase Payne for hosting and a great performance with his band.

Haven't seen The Mullins Sisters in years. I knew they were good but they exceeded my expectations. WE LOVE TMS. I missed the Hickory Highway group due to a delay in traffic lol but others told me they rocked the house, as did the Bill Miles Band and Laura Rice. I hope to catch up with all three in the near future.

Rounding out our night of music was the ever-popular Buckshot VB. Its know secret we love the voice of lead singer Curtis Cowles and the BuckShot VB band. Last night he did not disappoint!! Great set.

Their fiddle player, Charlie Austin, and Country Star go way back! So we knew he'd be awesome.

... and the beat goes on
